8:00 am: Meeting called to order, Communication, Report of Officers, Good of the Association
8:15 am: GCSAA Update
8:30 am- 9:30 am: Dr. Michael Fidanza, Professor of Plant and Soil Sciences at Penn State Berks. Topic: “Boosting turf resilience with soil surfactant technology, emphasis on Fairy Ring.”
9:30 am-9:45 am: Break
9:45 am–10:45 am: Dr. Nathaniel Mitkowski, Professor of Plant Sciences and Entomology at Univ. of RI. Topic: “Common turf diseases and their management.”
10:45 am – 11:00 am: Break
11:00 am-12:00 pm: Taryn LaScola, MDAR - Director of Crop and Pest Services. Taryn will give an overview of laws and regulations for pesticide use.
12:15 pm: Closing Remarks, Issue surveys, Buffet Lunch
Cost: $95 per person; Life Members: $60 per person
Approved for 3 Contact Hours for Mass. Pesticide credits; Applied for GCSAA CEU’s
