Nantucket Golf Club is a premier private golf club located on the island of Nantucket, 30 miles off Cape Cod. Designed by Rees Jones, the club is known for exceptional playing conditions, strong leadership, and a collaborative team culture that values mentorship, professionalism, and mutual respect.
This opportunity offers a rare combination: high-level professional development and a healthy work/life balance in one of the most unique coastal communities in the country. Housing is available, making island living realistic while you build your career in an elite golf environment alongside a supportive and motivated team.
Nantucket offers beaches, boating, fishing, biking, and a vibrant seasonal community. Our management philosophy supports a sustainable work schedule that allows assistants to enjoy the island while growing professionally and staying energized at work.
Recent projects include a bunker renovation, full irrigation replacement, and irrigation pond renovation. An approved master plan will begin soon, providing hands-on experience with major course development. In late 2026, the club will receive a new fleet featuring GPS sprayers, autonomous mowing technology, and upgraded equipment.
Past assistants have advanced into Superintendent and senior leadership roles nationwide. We take pride in developing our staff and creating an environment where people want to stay, learn, and succeed. This role is designed to prepare motivated professionals for long-term success.
