Golf Course Overview:

Sacconnesset Golf Club is a premier private golf club situated near the scenic shores of Cape Cod in Falmouth, Massachusetts.

Designed by the acclaimed golf course architect Rees Jones, the championship layout—measuring 7,100 yards and playing as a par 72—has been described by Jones himself as one of his finest creations. He remains actively involved in the ongoing care, refinement, and enhancement of the course, ensuring its continued evolution at the highest level.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and career-driven individual who is eager to grow, develop advanced skills, and contribute meaningfully within a premier, high-level golf facility.

This is a hands-on role designed for someone committed to professional excellence and ready to take on real responsibility. You will be immersed in daily operations while being given meaningful opportunities to grow into—and be expected to perform as—an integral member of our leadership and management team.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience
Preferred but not required: Prior experience in golf course maintenance, turfgrass management, landscaping, or a related field. We welcome motivated candidates from other industries who are eager to begin or transition into a career in turf management.

Education
Preferred but not required: Completion of a formal Turfgrass Management program or related degree. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate strong work ethic, positive attitude, and genuine commitment to learning the trade.

Special Requirements

  • Must obtain a Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License within 60 days of hire (training and exam support provided).
  • Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a proactive, forward-thinking approach to work.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: $24–$26 per hour, based on experience, qualifications and certifications
  • Off-site housing available. Reasonably priced monthly rent, less than 5 miles from the club
  • Health insurance (75% employer / 25% employee contribution)
  • 401(k) plan (available after 1 year of employment)
  • Paid vacation (available after 1 year of employment) and sick time
  • Uniforms provided
  • Golfing privileges
