Scholarship and Research Tournament

Schedule of Events:

10:30 am:     Registration
11:15 am:     Lunch Buffet
12:30 pm:     Golf
 5:00 pm:     Hors d’oeuvres with Dinner to follow

Raffles:  A silent raffle will be held with prizes including golf foursomes, gift certificates and irons raffles the day of the tournament - $5.00 per ticket, 5 tickets for $20.  Tickets will be available for purchase the day of the tournament but must be purchased before the golf tournament begins.  Prizes will be displayed before dinner.  Individuals not attending the tournament may send a check to order tickets.  Please indicate your choice.  There will also be a 50/50 Cash Raffle with tickets available for purchase the day of the tournament.

Format:  Metropolitan Scoring 100% Handicap, Player #1 plays as a best ball team with each of their guests.  Twosome pairings will play as a best ball team.  First and second gross; First, second and third net.  Field is limited to 120.

Cost:   $175.00 per player, $350 for a twosome or $700 for a foursome

Dress:  Proper golf attire for tournament.  Jacket is required for dinner.

Directions: From the Bourne Bridge: WHGC is at the southwestern tip of Cape Cod, approximately 25 minutes from the Bourne Bridge. At the rotary on the Cape side of the bridge, take Route 28 South approximately 12 miles. The road narrows to two lanes. Continue straight through the first light for 2/3 of a mile, bear right at sign for Woods Hole. Go 1 1/2 miles to the second light, turn right onto Quissett Harbor Road. Go 75 yards, take your first left onto Quissett Avenue. Go 1.1 miles and enter The Woods Hole Golf Club on the right.
From the Sagamore Bridge: If coming to the Cape over the Sagamore Bridge, take exit 1, go to the end of the ramp and turn left at the light. Go approximately 2 1/2 miles to the Bourne Rotary, then follow the above directions.
